Investment Stratergy
I2india has a unique business model which consists of 2 parallel tracks.
We look for interesting Indian startups that have the potential to make a major difference in their area of specialization. We assist them as co-promoters providing strategic guidance, access to our high-value networks and the infusion of sufficient seed capital. We follow the Co-Promotion model (outlined below) to build companies that will eventually become market leaders. This requires expertise since the early stages of a company is when the right guidance will go a long way to putting the company on the path to success.

On a parallel track, we also partner with global innovators, to bring breakthrough technologies and products to India. I2india conducts pro-active market and technical research to identify strong investment opportunities. We then identify and partner with relevant innovators to develop localized solutions. The most common approach followed by i2india for such projects, is to create a new, dedicated venture in India to commercialize these solutions. I2india takes complete financial and operational responsibility for these start-ups, by providing them seed investment and 360 degree operational and incubation support.
